DUO (integration)
When you are a migrant, you have to deal with certain conditions and obligations. For example, in most cases you have to integrate. Not only abroad, but also in the Netherlands - if you are not a Union citizen - you have an integration obligation. You can get a loan to cover the cost of training and the exam. However, if you do not pass (all parts of) the civic integration exam on time, it often means that you will have to repay the loan to the Dutch government. What we often see in our practice is that a request for extension is not granted or that a request for exemption from the obligation to integrate is rejected. Exceptions to the obligation to integrate are possible. To qualify for these, however, you must send along the correct evidence. In case of a rejection decision, you have the possibility of objection and appeal. RAMNUN & DENIZ Advocaten can assist you with this. RAMNUN & DENIZ Advocaten can apply for an allowance on your behalf if you are unable to pay the lawyer yourself.

Do you have a social security benefit? Then in most cases you may be eligible for bijzondere bijstand to pay your own contribution or any court fees. In those cases, the lawyer or litigation costs nothing.
